The home-building organization Habitat for Humanity held a fundraiser in Rogers Sunday so it can continue its charity work.

The group held a parking lot sale at the Pinnacle Promenade Mall, selling items that are usually found at the Habitat Thrift Store in Bentonville.

The charity also said it is raising money one penny at a time.

“All the money thrown into the fountains at Pinnacle Hills goes to us and it’s for the growth and development of our community” said Debby Wieneke, of the Benton County Habitat for Humanity.

The group hopes the fountain coins will add up to thousands of dollars over the next few years.
