Jo Ellison grew up in eastern Oklahoma, graduating from Cameron High School and receiving a business degree from Carl Albert State College. Jo has always had a passion for television news. She got her first taste when she was an intern at 40/29 News in 2002. Over the past few years, Jo has worked her way up though different positions at the station and was promoted to Reporter in Spring of 2008.

"I'm so blessed. During the day I get the opportunity to meet interesting people in our area, and in the evening I get to share their stories with our viewers at home." said Ellison.

Jo and her husband are active members in the community. They live in Van Buren with their daughter Hattie.
