MASTER CONTROL OPERATOR / VIDEO TAPE OPERATOR

KHBS/KHOG-TV 40/29, Arkansas Hearst-Argyle Television is seeking a MCO/Tape Operator. This will be a full time position of 40 hours per week at KHBS TV, Fort Smith, Arkansas. The shift may vary weekly and the applicant must be able to work any day and shift assigned. The duties of this position involve capturing satellite program feeds, operating the transmitter, cameras, and other television equipment, switching program and commercials, running audio for live newscasts, and monitoring the overall technical quality of the facility. CAMERA / PROMPTER OPERATORS

KHOG-TV 29 in Rogers, Arkansas is taking applications for Camera/Prompter operators. Camera/Prompter operators are responsible for running our studio cameras during live newscasts. You would also be operating the TelePrompTer, maintaining the studio lights, and checking the studio to make sure everything is working for the newscast. BROADCAST ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

KHBS/KHOG-TV, has an opening for an individual to work in our technical department in Fort Smith, Arkansas. This position requires the ability to troubleshoot and repair broadcast equipment/systems to component level as well as handling building maintenance projects. Prefer two years of vocational electronics or equivalent military training. Experience on BETACAM, DVCPRO, RF and television/video systems desired. Experience with Windows networks is a plus, however this is NOT an IT position, nor will it ever be or lead to one. The pay scale for this position will be between $12.50 and $13.00 per hour.
